Women and Wheels The event is designed to celebrate the wives and mothers of NASCAR drivers with women race fans. This benefit dinner will take place at the splendid Wyndham Virginia Center Crossings Hotel and Conference Center conveniently located approximately eight miles from the RIR complex. (1000 Virginia Center Parkway, Glen Allen, VA). Guests will enjoy a silent auction and reception prior to a formal sit down dinner. Following the dinner, a panel of race driver’s wives and mothers will participate in a Question and Answer session fielding questions from the attendees.

Mrs. Mary Lou Hamlin, mother of Chesterfield native Denny Hamlin, driver of the #11 FedEx Toyota will serve as our honorary Chairwoman.

The event benefits Freedom House, a non-profit in Richmond Virginia that has been providing food and shelter to the region’s homeless and working poor since 1983. Freedom House operates the area’s only Soup Kitchen, the Conrad Center, serving over 48,000 meals a year. Freedom House also operates two transitional housing programs for homeless single adult men and women.
